Well, Cho La pass is also another show up for this Everest Adventure Trek. Today is going to be the toughest day for us. We need to start early (4 -6am) compared to other days. Actually the pass is not difficult per se but it is steep and involves a glacier traverse on the eastern side. As the trail is vertical and the rocks are glazed by ice, it adds trouble to the trekkers making the trail slippery. So, we need to be careful this day. We can enjoy the awesome views of Amadablam over a range of mountains on the south along with Cholatse on the west and Lobuche East and Baruntse. Before we reach Dzongla, we need to pass through some crevasses. Dzongla is another beautiful place with a complete view of Mount Cholatse, Lobuche and Mount Amadablam. We will stay at a very basic lodge overnight

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak shep (5170m/16961ft) to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) and return back to Gorak Shep: 8-9 hours Today will be the longest day of our entire trek. So make early morning start, and our trek continues gently to climb and sometimes direct ascent to nearby glacier and moraine. Following this trail will finally bring you to Gorakshep for our breakfast. After the breakfast, we continue our trek to EBC with packed lunch. EBC offers you the beauty of Khumbu Icefall on the base of the tallest mountain in the world. Again, we have to return back to Gorakshep today.

Day 15: Trek from Pheriche to Pangboche to Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3400m/11280ft): 5-6 hours Today, we walk down through the hillside with beautiful rhododendron and juniper forest. We either have our lunch in Pangboche or wait until we reach Phunki Tenga depending on our hunger and condition. Then, we follow our trail through Dudh Koshi descending rapidly through pine forests. This will bring us to Sansa which is the major trail junction in the region. We then follow the trail to Namche Bazaar where we stay overnight.

Day 16: Trek from Namche to Lukla: 7-8 hours We descend steeply downward today. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi, our trail becomes more level.
